Come FLOW down West Broadway for the 5th Annual Celebration of hundreds of unique Northside Artists. Come to look, listen, make, taste, move and buy Northside! Penn Cluster
- Beer Tasting & BBQ at BLO
- 3 floors of art and art-making opportunities at the new 5 Points building
- Hours of poetry, music, stories and spoken word on the 5 Points stage
- Make plans to end up in the 5 Points Lounge for food, beer & wine, live blues & jazz at the FLOW afterparty
- Homewood Gallery’s 1x1xOne Youth Art Exhibit shares the beautifully remodeled Capri Theatre with performances from the Minnesota Fringe Festival and the Capri Big Band
Emerson Cluster
- KMOJ celebrates it’s return to North Minneapolis at their outdoor stage at 1200 W. Broadway
- Emerge Community Development & Bean Scene II take it outside for gospel music, food and fun!
- Head upstairs at Emerge to see Images from the University of Minnesota’s Givens Collection of African American Literature on loan from the Urban Research & Outreach/Engagement Center
- Celebrate Juxtaposition Arts 15th Anniversary with community artmaking, real-time painting demonstration, live t-shirt printing, new pocket park, birthday cake and art by Juxtaposition & North High students and this summer’s STEP-UP Apprentices
Lyndale Cluster
- Recognize Northside Youth at annual favorites Keep the Knowledge FLOWing college-bound recognition ceremony and the Apollo-style Let It FLOW Youth Talent Show Finals
- Follow the music from W. Africa to Hip-Hop, Jazz to Blues to Gospel with artists from Voices of Culture, Phonetic One and 1 Way Entertainment
Lundstrum Cluster
- 3 gallery spaces showcase beloved Northside artists like Chris Harrison & Bill Cottman
- Participate in the Northpoint Photovoice Photography Project
- Enjoy performances by Camden School of Music, Asian Storytellers Alliance, Northside Arts Collective members and of course the amazing talents of Lundstrum Center for the Performing Arts
